Using a photograph of their own, students will learn:
Mixing oil paint flesh tones Correctly using a limited palette
Techniques of toning canvas, Blocking in the underpainting.
Tips for shading and reflective color of the skin.
Painting realistic eyes, noses and lips
Tips for Painting hair
Capturing a realistic likeness
This class is for students who have either taken the “ drawing in preparation for painting class” or who have already drawn a portrait on a canvas and is ready to paint. This class is for all levels. To register go to www.artsescape.org
